Grade and application requirements
The company profile includes an AL6061 part example. Other grades, material conditions and documentation need confirmation with the drawing. Explain structural, cosmetic and finishing requirements for the material and process review.
Key design factors
Thin walls, deep pockets, internal corners and dense hole patterns affect workholding, tooling and sequence. Specify dimensional and masking requirements for anodizing and other finishes at the RFQ stage.
Use the documented material example as a starting point
The supplied company profile includes an AL6061 component example. That supports a discussion of aluminum machining; it does not establish that every aluminum grade, temper or specification is available for every part. State the exact material and condition, whether substitutions are allowed, and the certificates required. If the grade is undecided, describe strength, corrosion, appearance and assembly needs before agreeing on a selection.
Plan thin walls, pockets and anodized interfaces
Deep pockets, thin walls and closely related holes can affect tool reach, clamping and distortion. Identify the surfaces used as datums and those that must seal or mate after finishing. For anodizing, specify the required finish, cosmetic zones, masking and dimensional acceptance after treatment. Any proposal to enlarge an internal radius, alter a wall or relax a nonfunctional tolerance needs your engineering approval.
Connect inspection and quantity to the quotation
Provide the model, drawing revision and order quantities for prototype and repeat batches. Mark critical dimensions, flatness or surface texture and request a suitable inspection/reporting scope. The equipment inventory, inspection photographs and downloadable profile support supplier evaluation; they do not replace a part-specific agreement. Compare material, finishing, inspection, packaging and delivery on the same basis when reviewing quotations.
Manufacturing evidence you can review
Equipment and material examples refer to the supplied inventory, company profile and manufacturer literature. General guidance and illustrative images are not customer delivery case studies or a substitute for drawing review. Agree on inspection, reporting and delivery scope for each project.
