Project and process review
Plan turning, milling and combined features around material, critical characteristics, quantity and delivery needs. Agree on inspection scope and revision control for prototype validation and repeat orders.
Quality records and certification scope
Request first-article, material and process records at the RFQ stage. The supplied IATF 16949 certificate covers manufacture of metal machined parts and excludes product design. The certified address is Building 4, No. 6, Lane 1188, Kaiming Road, Songjiang District, Shanghai, China.
Prototype validation and repeat orders
Prototype review should identify assembly function and critical features. Production planning also needs revision control, inspection frequency and delivery batches. Agree on first-article, material and dimensional records in the quotation. If PPAP or other special documents are required, review the exact checklist and available scope first.
Fits, traceability and packaging requirements
For turned and milled parts, distinguish fits, geometric requirements, threads and acceptance after finishing. Specify batch identification, corrosion or damage protection, destination and target date for delivery review. Quality-system certification does not replace validation of an individual component.
